Before getting too far into the process of planning a bathroom remodel you need to do an assessment of what you already have.

Each bathroom remodel is different. In some cases you will need to just gut the bathroom and begin again from scratch. Other situations are not nearly as serious, and perhaps only a partial remodel and update will be necessary.

If the latter is true, a bathroom remodeling project can be accomplished at a greatly reduced cost and still provide a shiny new bathroom space within your household.
